MO Studios is based in Birmingham's historic Jewellery Quarter, where around 40% of all jewellery made in the UK is still produced. Our team has over ten years' experience photographing jewellery and watches, from fine high-end pieces to everyday collections, for brands across the UK.

We offer four main styles: white background packshots for product pages, modelled shots of jewellery being worn, creative and lifestyle images styled with props or backgrounds, and 360° rotations that let customers spin and zoom in on a piece. We can combine them to suit your website, catalogue or campaign.

Yes. Watch photography is one of our specialities. We light dials, cases and bracelets to control glare on glass and polished steel, so every detail, from the hands to the engraving, is sharp and readable.

They are the most popular style for online stores, marketplaces and catalogues because they are consistent, versatile and work for both web and print. Each item is photographed to your requirements and retouched to a very high standard.

Yes. We work regularly with our own in-house models, and if you need a specific look we can source a model for you. Modelled shots show scale and how a ring, necklace or pair of earrings looks when worn, which helps bring your products to life.

Yes. Creative and lifestyle shots let us photograph a full collection together or style pieces on the props and backgrounds of your choice. They are ideal for homepages, banners, social media and advertising campaigns.

A 360° rotation is an interactive image made from a sequence of photos taken all the way around the piece. Customers can turn it to see every angle and zoom in on fine details such as settings, stones and engraving, which gives them more confidence to buy online.

We use controlled studio lighting to bring out the fire and clarity of diamonds and the true colour of coloured stones, then fine-tune the result in retouching. The aim is an image that looks bright and accurate, so the piece arrives looking exactly as the customer expected.

Polished metal acts like a mirror, so we shape the reflections with diffused light and careful positioning instead of letting the studio show up in the piece. Retouching then cleans up any remaining dust, scratches or stray highlights so the metal looks smooth and even.

Yes, every image is retouched. We photograph each piece to capture its exact shape, then rebuild the surfaces in Photoshop to remove dust, fingerprints and marks, and match the colour, background and cropping to your brand guidelines.

Yes. We offer a free test shoot: send us one product and we'll photograph it at no charge so you can judge the quality on your own jewellery. Test images are for evaluation only until a licence is bought, and you cover the cost of shipping your product to and from us.

You can drop your pieces off at our studio in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter, or send them to us by courier from anywhere in the UK. We recommend a tracked and insured delivery service for valuable items.

You receive web-ready images for your online store and high-resolution files for catalogues, print and marketing. We can crop and size them for your website, Shopify, Amazon, Etsy or other marketplaces on request.
